We all feel better under natural daylight, more energetic, more awake, even more joyful! Research has shown that this is in part due to our brains releasing serotonin, a brain chemical that helps regulate mood, when exposed sunlight. Sunlight can be hard to come by during the winter months which can bring about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or the "Winter Blues". Light therapy has been shown to help alleviate SAD, enhancing mood, elevating energy and even improving sleep quality.
